SOS Children's Villages Kenya was proud to be a part of thefirst International conference on Child Protection in Africa. The conference was held at Daystar University in conjunction with the government and other development partners in child protection. In attendance at the opening ceremony in the 3 day conference was CS Ministry of Labor & Social Protection Hon. Amb. UkurYatani EGH and the PS in the same ministry Mr. Nelson Marwa. In his opening speech the CS noted that by holding the conference the government and partners are underscoring the importance of safe guarding the future generation and that of the nation by finding solutions to impediments against child protection. The delegates who attended the conference were from across the world.
